MEETING DATE & TIME: WE MEET ON THE FIRST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 7 PM AT THE KILAUEA RECREACTION CENTER, 4109 KILAUEA AVE, BETWEEN THE KAHALA MALL AND DIAMOND HEAD. OUR CLUB: MEMBERS DEVELOP TOPICS TO PRESENT AND THE BOARD FINDS LOCAL EXPERTS TO PRESENT 45 MIN PRESENTATIONS TO MEET THEIR NEEDS. MANY TOPICS ARE "HANDS ON" IN NATURE... MUCH FUN "Q & A's" FOLLOW EACH PRESENTATION. WE ENJOY AMPLE PARKING. WE PUBLISH A MONTHLY NEWS LETTER. OUR DUES ARE JUST $15 A YEAR, PER PERSON. OUR HISTORY: THE SOCIETY WAS FOUNDED BY GEORGE AGENA, ROBERT ITOMAN, AND WALTER LUM. IT HAD ITS FIRST MEETING ON JANUARY 6, 1976 AT THE WAIKIKI/KAPAHULU JAPANESE LANGUAGE SCHOOL... OUR MEMBERS ARE MULTI-ETHNIC AND OF ALL AGES. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 150 ACTIVE MEMBERS IN OUR GROUP. GUESTS: WE ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN ORCHIDS TO COME AND VISIT OUR MEETINGS. WE WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW YOU AND YOUR NEEDS. EACH GUEST RECEIVES AN INTERESTING GIFT AS A TOKEN OF OUR APPRECIATION FOR COMING TO THEIR FIRST MEETING.
