The rounded, floral designs of the Native Americans living in Woodlands and Pacific Northwest are created using the applique stitch. We have samples and photographs in the shop of this intricate stitch used to decorate pouches, moccasins, leggings and barrettes. This is an advanced class for students who have beading experience. The class meets two weekends in a row for a total of 6 hours of instruction. Students will make a small beaded buckskin pouch which they will finish with edge beading. The fee includes all materials.
