On June 2nd 2007, Shawn Livingston Moseley returns to the Hawaii stage at Mamiya Theater to debut his latest compositions and songs. This will be Shawn’s first concert in Hawaii in over 14 years. The collective work being named “The Storm before the Calm” is an aural autobiographical snapshot of the past 14 years of his life since his departure from Hawaii in 1992.

Act I of the show will pay respects to his greatest influences, Chopin and Beethoven. Shawn will perform original pieces written for solo piano in the Romantic style. Shawn will also be joined by Grammy winner Jeff Peterson for a few original compositions written for piano and nylon guitar.

Intermission of the show will find the Mamiya main entrance turned into “The Storm Gallery”, displaying original artwork of Bryce and Judy A. NimtzMyers, Geoff Lee and Melissa Chimera.

Act II will bring the listener current to Shawn’s latest modern songs and compositions influenced by 14 years of producing records for Major and Independent Labels. Joining Shawn on stage will be a full band consisting of; Jeff Peterson on Acoustic Guitar, Stephen Inglis on Elec. guitar, Jon Hawes on Bass, Jason Segler on Drums, Pumehana Davis Wadsworth on Harp, Melissa Chimera and Navid on Vocals. With such an amazing line-up as this, the audience will be treated to music written in the Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop and Pop styles, of course blended with a little romantic overtone.

Yes, it's going to be amazing and defiantly a first for Hawaii.
