• Kaimuki Public Library Library to Host "Internet Child Safety" and "Poetry Slam" Programs

In celebration of the 2007 HSPLS Young Adult Summer Reading Program,
Kaimuki Public Library is scheduled to host a Poetry Slam event on
Sunday, July 15, from 3 p.m. ö 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Youth Speaks Hawaii will present this poetry slam. Slam poetry combines
poetry with the performance arts.

Following this presentation, the group will conduct a poetryöwriting
workshop. This workshop is recommended for ages 12 to 18.

Call the library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or
other special accommodation is needed.

Kaimuki Public Library is located at 1041 Koko Head Avenue. For more
