Queen Lili`uokalani Elementary School will present their annual Queen's Birthday Celebration on Thursday, September 6 at 9:00-10:00 am in front of the tile mural on the school campus. (visible from Waialae Avenue) The Royal Hawaiian Band will also be playing Lil`iuokalani's music for our students' song performances. Queen Liliuoakalani Children's Center has donated a giant maile lei to drape on our mural wall in tribute to the Queen. A special planting of purple crown flowers on campus will follow.
