CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY AND
THE CLARENCE T.C. CHING FOUNDATION
PRESS CONFERENCE

HONOLULU—August 27, 2008--Chaminade University (University) and The Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation (Foundation) will make a special announcement regarding a major multi-million dollar grant, one of the largest received by the University, on Tuesday, September 2, at 11 a.m. in the Vi and Paul Loo Student Center in Freitas Hall of Chaminade University, 3140 Wai’alae Avenue, Honolulu 96816.

Members of the media are invited to find out more about the grant and its impact on Chaminade students, interview the leadership from the Foundation and the University, as well as interview students who have been selected as Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation Endowed Scholars. Also in attendance will be Mayor Mufi Hannemann, State House Rep. Calvin Say, members of the University’s boards of regents and governors and division deans.Ê
