A "Be Creative: Make Eco-Friendly Crafts" workshop will be offered on Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m. Evelyn Nakamura, a long-time craft enthusiast, will teach participants of all ages how to make eco-friendly crafts to take home with them. All craft supplies will be provided by the library. To register for the workshop, sign up at the reference desk or call the library.

Contact the library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed for these events.

In addition, Kaimuki Public Library will conduct its annual Children's, Teen, and Adult Summer Reading Programs from June 14 through July 23, 2009. All programs and special events are free; contact the library for details.
