University of Hawai‘i Community Colleges’ Green Now Conference
to serve as catalyst for building Hawai‘i’s economy around renewable energy technologies and sustainability initiatives.

Keynote by Henk Rogers, president/CEO of Blue Planet Software
and founder of the Blue Planet Foundation.

WHAT: The UH Community Colleges’ energy and sustainability team is sponsoring a Green Now Conference to bring like-minded people together to form partnerships, collaborate on ideas, and discuss solutions for energy and sustainability education and training. It hopes to partner with industries to deploy training and develop energy revolution curriculum to support Hawaiʻi’s 2050 Sustainability Plan goals.

Featuring:

Keynote by Henk Rogers, president/CEO of Blue Planet Software and founder of the Blue Planet Foundation. Rogers is responsible for bringing Tetris to the United States and the world market.
Plenary presentation by Tony Grahame, director of Yavapai College Residential Building Technology Program.
Roundtable sessions facilitated by industry leaders/experts. Topics include:
- Renewable energy
- Retrofitting
- Transportation
- Sustainable agriculture
Continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
