• "Meet The Author" At Hawaii Kai Public Library Featuring Author Neil Tepper

Hawaii Kai Public Library will offer a "Meet the Author" program for adults in the Meeting Room; admission is free.

"Prescriptions for Living a Creative Life" will be presented by author Neil Tepper on Saturday, January 22 at 11 a.m. Tepper, a former creative executive with The Coca-Cola Company, Universal Television and the 1996 Olympic Games, will discuss creativity and how individuals can harness their own creative power for all aspects of their lives.

Tepper, who is also a TV producer and award-winning photographer and songwriter, will guide participants in a creativity exercise from his new book "Prescriptions for Living a Creative Life: Simple Remedies for Common Maladies in Our 24/7 World."

The book focuses on seven problems that people face in our fast-paced, information-based world. Among these problems include: Overbooked, Overstressed, Overwhelmed; Mental Cholesterol; and Faded Passion. Learn how to view these challenges in new ways so that you can apply fresh, creative solutions to them.

Best-selling author Clear Englebert will present "Feng Shui," in celebration of Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit, on Saturday, January 29 at 11 a.m. Englebert is the author of bestseller "Feng Shui for Hawaii," "Feng Shui Demystified," and "Bedroom Feng Shui."

Program is one-hour in length and will include a question-and-answer session. Contact the library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed
