WHAT:
A lecture and workshop on standing and sitting safely. As part of its ongoing education, Kahala Nui will host a lecture and workshop to teach seniors to stand and sit safely. As our bodies age, standing and sitting become more difficult because of a loss in strength and confidence. This event will teach an, "Economy-of-Motion" technique to perform these daily activities safely as to not incur a fall. The public is invited; no reservations are required.
