Session I - Mondays, January 3, 10, 24 - 12 Noon till 3:00 PM.
Session II -- Mondays, Feb 7, 14, 28 - - 12 Noon till 3:00 PM.

"Lei Hulu" or Feather Lei making is an art! Back by popular demand, we are fortunate to have one Herman Tachera one of Hawaii's premier feather lei makers teach a Beginning Class! Herman has over ten years experience in the art of Hawaiian Feather work and has created numerous traditional and contemporary lei hulu, uli uli and kahili. In this series of three (3-hour) workshops, students will learn the history and cultural aspects of the art, how to prepare the feathers and receive hands-on instruction and guidance in the creation of your very own "lei hulu".

Class Session I - Fees: Members $15.00/Non-Members $20.00.
Class Session II - Fees: Members $15.00/Non-Members $20.00.

Supply fees of $45.00 are separate from class fees and paid directly to the instructor on the first class meeting.

Classes held in RM 203A on Feb. 1, 8, and 22, 2010. Call 923-1802 to register!
