Online Registration for Non-fee Classes

August 1, 2011, 8:00 am through August 14, 2011.
Go to http://parks.honolulu.gov/sdi/home.html to register.
Registration for classes that have fees must be paid at the playground. This includes the children, adult and senior classes.

Walk-On Registration

District I (Hawaii Kai to McCully) and District II (Makiki to Aiea)
August 22, 2011 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
August 23 & 24, 2011 - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

District III (Pearl City to Waianae & Wahiawa) and District IV (Waialua to Waimanalo)
August 24, 2011 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
August 25 & 26, 2011 - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Program starts on September 6, 2011.
Holidays: November 11, 2011 - Veteran’s Day
November 24, 2011 - Thanksgiving Day

Children’s Program

1. Recreation Classes: Refunds will be allowed for requests submitted before and including the first class meeting of the class. No refund will be made after the first meeting of the class.

2. Cancelled Classes: Refunds will be made for classes cancelled by the Department. If class is cancelled after a number of sessions have already been held, refunds will be made on a prorate basis of completed sessions. Make checks out to the City and County of Honolulu. Checks or exact change preferred.

All programs are subject to change without notice.

Adult and Senior Classes

Registration for Adult and Senior classes are during the same time as the Children’s Program (see above). Classes with fees must be paid at the individual parks. Online registration starts on August 1, 2011 at 8:00 am for non-fee classes only. Go to www.honoluluparks.com to find out what classes the playgrounds are offering.

All fees are non-refundable after the start of the program or collection deadline (for special activities) as designated at registration. Refund requests must be made in writing and accompanied by a receipt, cancelled check, or appropriate registration form indicating payment.
