Saint Louis School in partnership with Schnitzer Steel Hawaii Corporation will be hosting Aloha ‘Aina Earth Day on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Kalaepohaku campus (3142 Waialae Avenue). Please bring your recyclable waste, help our environment, and turn trash into cash for our student programs.

The following will be accepted at the site: scrap metal, beverage containers (including water bottle tops), used cooking oil, cellular phones, printer cartridges, residential propane tanks, newspaper, cardboard, telephone books, magazines, used eye glasses, batteries, computers, printers, TVs (one per car) and paper shredding – please note paper shredding services will be available from 8:00am to 11:00am and will be limited to two bankers’ boxes per customer.

Additionally, canned goods will be collected for the Hawaii Food Bank and pet food and supplies for Poi Dogs & Popoki. For curbside pick-up or more information contact Bobby Balais at 352-2761 or Schnitzer Steel at 682-5810.
