EARTH DAY BEACH CLEANUP AT SANDY BEACH
Saturday, April 20, 2013 • 9:30AM-11:45AM

Prudential Advantage Realty and Sustainable Coastlines will host a beach cleanup on Earth Day, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Sandy Beach Park from 9:30AM-11:45AM.

This event part of Sustainable Coastlines’ Earth Day Cleanup & Music Festival, an initiative to create Hawaii’s largest beach cleanup in history at eleven Oahu Beaches including Sandy Beach, Makapu’u, Kaupo Bay (across from Sea Life Park), Waimanalo Beach Park, Sherwoods (Waimanalo), Bellows (Waimanalo), Lanikai Beach Park (Park Access), Kailua Beach Park, Kalama Beach Park (Kailua), Shorebreaks/Greenwalls (Kailua), and Pyramid Rock (Kaneohe Marine Base) on April 20, 2013 from 9:30AM-11:45AM.

Beach cleaning volunteers will continue the fun with a Music Festival at Sea Life Park from 12PM-4:30PM featuring music, guest speakers, educational activities, games, keiki tent, live art exhibitions, park attractions and special $5 admission for beach cleanup participants.

To participate, bring your family and friends to Sandy Beach at 9:30am on Saturday, April 20th and look for the Prudential Advantage Realty tent. Gloves and trash bags will be provided (while supplies last). Volunteers are encouraged to bring a hat, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and if available, sifter and reusable gloves.
