KapCC has partnered with public schools to again host the Honolulu District Science and Engineering Fair, happening this Saturday, February 8. Many of our faculty, staff, students and admins are volunteering their support as students from elementary, middle and high schools compete for a berth to continue on to enter the Hawai`i State Science and Engineering Fair which will be held at the Hawai`i State Convention Center in April.

An art component has been added and entries are now on display in Lama Library.

The opening oli begins at 8:00am with an awards ceremony ending about 4:00pm. Please come and visit all the displays, enjoy the break-out sessions, or just talk story with the visiting students.

One day these visiting students may very well be in our classrooms!
