Description/Comments
The Hawaii Women’s Business Center is offering a seminar on how to make the most of eBay to increase your revenue. The all day seminar on Saturday, October 7 from 9:00 – 5:00 pm, will provide new and experienced users with the tools needed to be a successful seller on eBay.Ê

Presenter Marilyn Paguirigan is the only active Hawaii-based Educational Specialist trained by eBay, a Power Seller completing over 10,000 successful transactions and the owner of two featured eBay stores. She will be presenting The Basics of eBay from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and Beyond the Basics: an advanced eBay course from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Both workshops are taught using eBay-sanctioned materials. The fee is $75 for both workshops, or $40 for one session and Marilyn will be donating part of her presentation time in support of HWBC. The official eBay book will also be made available only to workshop participants for an additional $20. Call 526-1001 for reservations.

“With over 157 million registered users, eBay offers sellers more than 50,000 categories to market their goods including antiques, art, books, business & industrial products, vehicles, clothing, collectibles, electronics & computers, home furnishings, jewelry, movies, music, pottery & glass, sporting goods & memorabilia, tickets, and toys & hobbies,” Paguirigan said. “More than 430,000 people make a full- or part-time living on eBay. Course attendees will learn the fundamental skills needed to become a successful eBay seller.”

And for those already skilled at selling on eBay, you can now donate up to 100% of your eBay sales to Hawaii Women’s Business Center through Mission Fish. Choose HWBC as your designated non-profit benefactor for a week, month, year or lifetime!

The morning will be a Basics of Selling on eBay. This 4-hour workshop provides new users the tools needed to be a successful seller on eBay, including how to create and enhance listings that attract buyers, how to set pricing to maximize your profits, how to open and use a Paypal account, and how to monitor sales.
