Does Your Mouth Have a Mind of It's Own?
Come learn Tongue Fu! ¨
Tongue Fu!¨ Martial Arts for the Mind and Mouth is the constructive alternative to giving a tongue-lashing or to being tongue-tied. It is a step-by-step process for turning hostility into harmony and aggravation into aloha. These martial arts ideas for the mind and mouth will help you with:
- Management of perception of service
- Service recovery techniques
- Words to lose and words to use; and
- New philosophies on dealing with difficult people.
Small businesses need loyal customers and one of the critical ways to gain loyalty is to build a relationship with them. To build a relationship you need to "connect" with the customer through communication (visual; vocal; verbal). Once you're connected the relationship will develop. When you have a good relationship, trust and loyalty will follow. Loyalty brings word of mouth sales, customers who are more understanding and forgiving when mistakes are made and loyal staff as well. Tongue Fu! helps create the connection.
