Ulupono Academy Annual Fun-Raiser "Casual for a Cause" & Creating Magic

Wearing jeans because we have all donated money in support of three amazing charitable foundations."

To date, Ulupono Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School along with the other 69 Paul Mitchell Schools across the country have raised $775,000.

There's LEEZA'S PLACE, it's an intimate and safe setting where caregivers and those recently diagnosed with any memory disorder can gather to prepare themselves for the challenging journey ahead.

Secondly, the ANDREW GOMEZ DREAM FOUNDATION that provides new salon professionals with educational experiences they probably would not otherwise have for many years to come.

And now, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, they build and rehabilitate simple, decent, affordable houses for low-income families around the world.

Here's our storyÉ.there's a dress code at Ulupono Academy. The Future Professionals(aka students) dress in black, it's the professional attire for the beauty industry. Thru April, the Future Professionals and faculty get to wear JEANS to school. Donate $5 to CASUAL FOR A CAUSE and the students and staff get to wear jeans. We have raised $5,000 in 6 weeks and still growing.

The Student Council at Ulupono Academy is partnering with Paul Mitchell

FOCUS Salons and Signature Salons in Hawaii making a difference to raise $20,000 for CASUAL FOR A CAUSE.
We have also partnered with other companies in Honolulu to raise another $20,000 honoring our charitable foundations at our CREATE MAGIC FUN-RAISER on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Pipeline Cafe. Come play with our ROCK STARS, meet the Future Professionals, our beauty industry and benefit from our fashion show, the live entertainment, the food and fun.
