• Queen Lydia Lili'uokalani Elementary School Make donation to Humane Society

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Queen Lydia Lili'uokalani Elementary School Student Council members were pleased to present a giant check for $200.00 to the Hawaiian Humane Society on Monday, May 21, 2007 during their recent meeting. Ms. Joan Yanagihara, the Society's Development Director, came to accept the check and was very impressed by their efforts. The donated funds were raised from the student body's recycling efforts this school year.
