Chaminade Faculty Members Chosen As Faculty Resource Network Scholars For Summer 2007

CHAMINADE FACULTY MEMBERS CHOSEN AS FACULTY RESOURCE NETWORK SCHOLARS FOR SUMMER 2007


HONOLULU--June 21, 2007--Nine Chaminade University faculty members have been accepted as Faculty Resource Network (FRN) Scholars for summer 2007. The FRN at New York University is an award-winning professional development initiative that sponsors programs for faculty members from a consortium of over 50 colleges and universities from across the country. Dr. Pierre Asselin and Professor Richard Kido have been named summer scholars-in-residence, which entails a one month stay in New York. Additionally, the following faculty members have been invited to take part in FRN one-week seminars in New York this month:

Dr. Paulo Martins Bio 2010: From Epidemics to Epidemiology
Dr. Nanette Schonleber American Thought through Indigenous Eyes
Dr. Peter Steiger The Voices of the Sinai:
The Sacred Scriptures of the Jews, Christians and Muslims
Dr. Eiko Tyler Bio 2010: From Epidemics to Epidemiology
Dr. Chitha Unni The Origins of Political Movements
