CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY NAMES NEW BOARD SLATE AND APPOINTS NEW REGENTS
--Kathleen "Kitty" Sullivan Wo named Chair--

HONOLULU -- May 1, 2009 The Board of Regents for Chaminade University today approved its new slate of officers. The regents unanimously approved of Kathleen "Kitty" Sullivan Wo as the board's new chair. She replaces Admiral (Ret.) R.J. "Zap" Zlatoper, USN, who has completed his term as chair and will remain on the board as a regent for an additional year. Wo was instrumental as Chaminade's chair of its board of governors, as well as a regent, in the success of the university's Transformations campaign.

The rest of the board slate includes Daniel L. Colin, first vice-chair; Cori Ching Weston, second vice-chair; and Jean E. Rolles, secretary. The board also approved the new appointments of Jeanne Anderson and Amy L. Jampel as regents, each to serve for two years and Michael F. Kerr, as the new chair of Chaminade University's Board of Governors, as well as an ex officio regent by virtue of that leadership position. Bro. Stephen Glodek, S.M. continues as chancellor, and Gary E. Liebl continues as chair emeritus.
