Kaimuki resident, acting coach, Michele van Hessen, is offering on-camera training for TV and Film at the Children's Discovery Center on Saturdays from 1-3pm. The classes are for children who can read a script, from 7 to 17. The on-going 2 hour session classes are $120 a month or $40.00 per session. The classes work on: cold reading techniques, working on camera, learning a monologue, scene and reports presentation techniques, and performing a commercial. The children learn to eliminate fear and nervousness, they learn to focus, and they develop improvisational skills. The workshops are fun devoted to advancing personal skills while preparing them to sign with a local agent. The art and craft of acting and communication is based on such things as timing, breaking down a script or report. Anyone can improve their self image and skills with this workshop. To Register call Cell 227-4332 About Michele Van Hessen Michele Van Hessen began acting at the age of five. She attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London, England. Her first acting experience was in the television series "Charter Boat," which was filmed for the BBC in Bermuda. As a student, Michele studied with the noted acting coach Jeff Corey at California State University at Northridge.
