ABOUT

As a small business owner and educator I know the issues facing Hawaii's people.Hawaii's brain drain is a legitimate fact. I was one of he many local kids that left the island to seek greater opportunities.I want to create a Hawaii where our keiki can remain on the island and find high paying challenging jobs.I want to create a Hawaii where businesses can thrive while preserving our great way of life.I want to preserve the Hawaii of my youth where my kids can enjoy growing up in he best place in the world.

Education:

I want to bring the Japanese and Europeaneducation system to Hawaii where high schools prepare the students to work in society. Students concentrate on trades and skills or elect to enter a college preparation program. We should foster students strengths rather than critiquing their weakness.

Business:

As a small business owner I understand the struggles of running your own business. The government can not keep raising taxes and expect businesses to thrive. I will fight for jobs through small business incentives and new business creation.

Environment:

We need sensible environmental policies that protect our environment and respect our past yet allows for progress and innovation. Change is good for the better but not at the expense of our aina or our past.Aina pursuing environmental policies that are respectful to our culture and our environment and that will protect our beautiful way of life.
