HEALTHY AND EASY VEGAN COOKING
Ori Ann Li, a former Mrs. Hawaii International who has found her niche as a vegan chef, will present a free cooking demonstration program at several Oahu libraries. Chef Li will demonstrate how to prepare several recipes featured in her cookbook "Ori Ann Li's Vegan Paradise: 65 Unforgettable Recipes" and offer free taste samples. The program will include a question-and-answer session, and an autograph session of her book which will be available for sale from the Friends of Hawaii Kai Public Library, Friends of Mililani Public Library, and Friends of Manoa Library. Chef Li, who specializes in world vegan cuisines, received her culinary training in Europe and North America. She is known as an innovative vegan culinary artist who strives to achieve the perfect balance between flavor, nutrition and aesthetics. The library's local Friends affiliate is sponsoring this one-hour program that is suitable for all ages.
