Kaimuki Public Library is scheduled to host "Test Secrets 101: Demystifying the SAT," a free informational program on Tuesday, October 17th, at 6:30 p.m. Conducted by Kaplan Test Preparation, a subsidiary of the Washington Post, this one-hour program is recommended for students ages 12 - 18 who are interested in increasing their scores on the SAT exam. Parents of students are invited to attend, as well. Kaplan Instructor Michael Gardner will discuss the importance of the SAT in college admissions, and share key score-raising strategies, and tips for test day success. Registration is required as seating is limited. Call the library or register in person at the reference desk. Program schedule is subject to change. Call the library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
