Chaminade University of Honolulu’s Performing Arts Theatre presents -
The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance

The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance has won the Tony, Obie, Drama Desk and New York Drama Critics Circle awards for Best Play. Imbued with a powerful humanity, humor and grace, The Elephant Man is the true story of a remarkably sensitive, intelligent and often humorous man whose body was hideously deformed. John Merrick began his life as a side show freak and ended it as one of the most celebrated men in England. This is the story of that remarkable journey and the triumph of the human spirit. The Elephant Man opens Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and repeats Nov. 7, 9 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and on Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.
