The lane stitch is usedÊby the people of the Northern Plains to create geometric designsÊonÊmoccasins, possibles pouches, leggings, tipi bags, ration bags and many other items of material culture. In this class, students willÊlearn the lane stitch (also known as the lazy stitch) andÊedge beading while making a small buckskin pouch. This class includes buckskin, beads, thread, glover's and beading needles, sinew andÊ4 hours of instruction. Fee: $42.00, includes all materials.
