UH Manoa's Outreach College and the Movie Museum are partnering up in January to offer the public a taste of Tuva.

Outreach College's Community Services program is bringing TYVA KYZY (DAUGHTERS OF TUVA), the first and foremost female throat-singing and folk music ensemble, to Leeward Community College for one performance onlyÊon Saturday, January 31.

The week prior to their concert, Movie Museum will be screening "Genghis Blues," a multiple award winning documentary about a blind blues musician's journey to Tuva to compete in a national throat-singing competition. ÊOutreach College patrons will receive special discount admission price to the film, but of course it's also open to the general public.
