$50 Inaugural Day Party and Hawaii Foodbank Fundraiser

What: Barack Obama, Hawaii-born and raised Politician Takes U.S. Presidential Oath of Office, local supporters, visitors, and U.S. citizens statewide celebrate.
When: Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 4pm – 8pm.
Where: Manoa Grand Ballroom at the Japanese Cultural Center, 2454 S. Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96826. Party is in the Ballroom on the 5th Floor of the Parking Facility. Located directly across from Star Market in Moiliili. Parking $5.

Business Plans Hawaii, in conjunction with the Hawaii Foodbank, announces the “People’s Party” to celebrate the Historic Inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States of America. $50 tickets provide ono pupu, soft drinks, live music and dancing. No host bar options also available. Doors open at 4pm, each participant is asked to bring one can of food. Donations and proceeds after expenses will benefit Hawaii Foodbank.
