 Sunday, July 19 at 1 p.m. - Georgia storyteller Linda Martin will present "Around the World with Porquoi Tales." Martin, who is also a school librarian and teacher, is the 2007 Georgia School Librarian of the Year, and a recipient of the Bechtel Fellowship from the American Library Association's Library Services for Children.
Contact the library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed for these events.
In addition, Kaimuki Public Library will conduct its annual Children's, Teen, and Adult Summer Reading Programs from June 14 through July 23, 2009. All programs and special events are free; contact the library for details.
