Coming to a Safeway location near you, it’s Cop-On-Top; the event that has officers from Hawaii’s Law Enforcement Agencies sitting on the rooftops of your neighborhood Safeway Stores for three days.

This year we will be participating in the 8th annual “Cop on Top” fundraiser for Special Olympics Hawaii. For three days, September 3 – 5, 2009, law enforcement officers around the state will spend our off-duty time perched atop a 14’ scaffolding, located at Safeway stores statewide. We will be heading up at 6am Thursday morning where we will eat, sleep and raising awareness for Special Olympics Hawaii. Please help us reach our goal so we can come down on Saturday!!!!

The event, which is Special Olympics Hawaii’s signature fundraiser, also works to create awareness for the important work the organization does, creating a safe and fun environment for Hawaii’s athletes with disabilities

Our fundraising goal is $15,000.00!!
