After School Heroes, LLC, in observance of Hawaii Public School's fall break, Oct. 4-8, 2010, will host a one week all-day fieldtrip fun/tutoring program.

We hope to entertain and enrich the island keikis through our high quality private programs in an affordable fashion:)

Additional to our morning FALL FUN PROGRAM, AFTER SCHOOL HEROES, LLC invites you to join the following TUTORING programs for K-12 students.

Intensive Tutoring
Surprise your teachers! This daily 4 hour intensive group tutoring is designed to help each student catch up and, or speed ahead in their class.
Dates: 10/4-10/8/2009
Time: 1pm to 5pm
Fee: $175/week or $40/day
Subject: Reading, Writing, Math
Group size: 3-4 students per tutor

Private Tutoring
Catered to your needs
1-on-1 private tutoring gives your child all the attention he/she needs. All subjects are tutored.
Dates: 10/4-10/8/2009
Time: 1:00-2:30 OR 3:00-4:30 slot. Other arrangements can be made.
Fee: $40/slot or $30/hour

At after School Heroes, LLC we work to enhance your child's strengths and tackle their weaknesses. Not only do we follow state and national standards, we carefully follow our students' progress, slowing down and speeding up according to THEIR needs.

All subjects, all grade levels welcome!
No more than 4 students in a group ensures that all students are receiving equal attention.
If students are done early, we will help them prepare for upcoming test and/or with tutoring.

M.Ed in Elementary Education, with a focus in ELL, Hawaii.
B.A. in Secondary Language Aquisitions, University of Hawaii.
Taught K-5 ELL at Hokulani Elementary and Kahala Elementary School.
Taught English in an Elementary School in Fukuoka, Japan

Michelle Dacanay
M.Ed in Secondary Education, Foreign Languages, Hawaii.
B.A. in Japanese Language with concentration on Literature, University of Hawaii.
Taught K-5 ELL at Kahala Elementary School.
Taught Japanese, SAT/SSAT prep and Math to High School students at a private enrichment center.
