Third Wednesday of every month the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board Meeting is held at Kaimuki Christian Church. 7pm.

4. Old Business: Update on Traffic Issues in Kaimuki - Department of Transportation Services - Wayne Yoshioka, Director, Kelly Cruz, et al.

4.1. Review of Safety at Intersection of Kilauea Avenue and 18th Avenue. Also, other Intersections on Downhill Incline of Kilauea Avenue and 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 19th Avenues.

4.2. Update on Harding Avenue Left-Hand Turning Lanes at 5th and 11th Avenues.

4.3. Update on Request for Traffic Light at Harding and 12th Avenues.

4.4. Update on Proposed Bicycle Lanes and Wai'alae Avenue Rehabilitation.

5. New Business

5.1. Dangers of GMOs (Genetically Modified Organism) and Monsanto's Roundup Pesticide - Hesh Goldstein, "Health Talk" moderator, K-108 Radio.

5.2. Proposal to Add a Sunday Farmer’s Market at Kapiolani Community College - Representative(s) from Hawai‘i Farm Bureau Federation; Carol Hoshiko, Dean of Community Relations and Continuing Education, KCC.

5.3. Conversion of Former Lili‘uokalani School to a Data Center - Randy Moore, Assistant Superintendent, Office of School Facilities and Support Services, DOE. Will involve "... [r]elocation of 180 positions to the site, including DOE Office of Human Resources staff currently housed in rented space at the Dole Cannery..."

The next meeting of the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board will be April 18, 2012, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Kaimuki Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 1117 Koko Head Avenue.
