Third Wednesday of every month the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board Meeting is held at Kaimuki Christian Church. 7pm.

1.       Call to Order by Chairperson Vernon Tam
 
2.       Filling of Board Vacancy - Seat in Subdistrict 1 left vacant by the resignation of Board Member Jonathan Young due to his moving out of the Kaimuki district.
 
3.       Public Safety Reports (Limited to 3 minutes each)
 
3.1.       Honolulu Police Department
3.2.       Honolulu Fire Department
3.3.       Board of Water Supply
 
4.       Public Input and Concerns (Limited to 3 minutes each)
 
5.       New Business
5.1.         Wilhelmina Rise Road Rehab Project - Sr. Project Engineer Johnny Chiem, Kaikor Construction Co., Inc. 
5.2.         Oahu Transit Services (OTS) Bus Route Adjustments Affecting Kaimuki and Adjacent Area - The City & County of Honolulu, Department of Transportation Services (DTS) and the Oahu Transit Services (OTS). 
5.3.         Conversion of Former LiliÎuokalani School to a Data Center - Randy Moore, Assistant Superintendent, Office of School Facilities and Support Services, DOE.  Will involve "... [r]elocation of 180 positions to the site, including DOE Office of Human Resources staff currently housed in rented space at the Dole Cannery..." (Note:  This agenda item is a carryover from previous agendas.).
5.4.         Resolution 12-57 - A resolution introduced by Councilmember Tulsi Gabbard, urging the State of Hawaii and the United States Food and Drug Administration to require labeling of genetically engineered food (GMO's).
5.5.         Speeding in Kaimuki and Kahala.  In light of recent crackdown in West Oahu on moving violations, resulting in 500 citations, what options are being considered for East Oahu as a long term speeding solution?

9.1.    The next meeting of the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board will be May 16, 2012, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Kaimuki Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 1117 Koko Head Avenue.
