Students from the Ohana Arts Summer School of the Arts will present the "Ohana Arts Music and Theatre Showcase" at Kaimuki Public Library on Sunday, July 8 at 2 p.m. The free event will be conducted in the Adult Reading Area.

These talented students, who range in age from 8 to 18, will perform musical theater, pop, and original songs from their upcoming musical theater revue. Students from the Composer-Performer Workshop will perform their own original compositions and their arrangements of well-known songs. Students from the Musical Theater Workshop will dance, act, and sing pop hits and musical theater favorites. In addition, students from the Ohana Arts production of "Oliver" will perform musical numbers.

Ohana Arts is a nonprofit performing arts festival and school dedicated to providing Hawaii's communities with high caliber arts programs in order to raise awareness of the benefits the arts can have to patrons and artists alike.

This one-hour program is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.
