HONOLULU ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY’S ZOOFARI

Join the Honolulu Zoological Society for its annual Zoofari 2012 -- Elephant Moon Gala. This year's event will feature an enchanted evening of delicious food and ringside cocktails with the beloved Asian elephants, Mari and Vaigai. Guests can also take part in the Zoofari silent and live auctions, which will feature many one-of-a-kind experiences, including behind-the-scenes tours.

The Honolulu Zoological Society's mission is to foster an appreciation of our living world by supporting and advocating for environmental education, recreation, biological study and conservation activities at the Honolulu Zoo. Funds raised through Zoofari will support educational activities, transform outdated animal exhibits, and create a more conducive environment for Hawaii's children to explore and appreciate our living world.

Support for the Honolulu Zoo Society helps provide dynamic educational experiences for more than 30,000 children and adults annually, volunteer programs that offer hands-on learning opportunities, animal enrichment, conservation activities, professional development for Zoo staff. Most critically, the Honolulu Zoo Society provides necessary financial support for the City and County of Honolulu's finest bird, mammal, reptile and amphibian collection, and infrastructure and facilities at the Honolulu Zoo.
