Eth-Noh-Tec is on a mission to bridge eastern and western world cultures together by sharing both modern and traditional folktales from Asia. With the gestures of their body and the expressions of their face, master storytellers Robert Kikuchi Yngojo and Nancy Wang captivate audiences of all ages with story, dance, and music. Their engaging style of performance transports the audience across the world to locations like the shores of Japan, the rice fields of Vietnam, and the villages of Tibet. Recently the pair has been working in China and India with other American storytellers through their `Nu Wa Rising` story exchange program. As hosting communities share their local Folktale with them, they share tales from America and Europe.

The duo has been together telling stories for 30 years, producing such events as `Salon, you`re on!,` a monthly gathering of Bay area storytellers and art performances, and the `Slam Bam Story Jam,` a three-day live performance and music festival. They`ve won the Circle of Excellence Award from the National Storytelling Network, the Parent`s Choice Award for DVD and CD`s, and have had the honor of performing at the Kennedy Center and during inauguration celebrations for both President Clinton and President Obama.

Sponsored in part by the Manoa Arts & Minds Series, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the Western States Arts Federation.
