National Worm Composting Expert will Speak at Four Oahu Libraries in April

In celebration of Earth Month, sustainable living education expert Ralph Rhoads will present "Worms Work!," a free informational seminar at four Oahu public libraries in April.

Rhoads, a popular national speaker on garden topics, will conduct a presentation about the care of composting worms and how their compost product is used. Rhoads has been a featured speaker on radio, television and at garden shows from Philadelphia to Seattle. He is currently writing a comprehensive worm composting instruction guide, and is a member of the Garden Writers of America. Rhoads has designed and patented a best-selling worm composter and growing containers that are being sold in six countries.

The 45-minute presentation is for adults unless noted otherwise, and will include a free comprehensive outline guide and a question-and-answer session. See how "Worms Work!" at these libraries:

Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.
