HOKU'S FATHER'S DAY SUNDAY BRUNCH

Sunday, June 16, 2013; 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

$85 Adults; $42.50 Children (6-12) (Tax and gratuity not included)

Spend some quality family time over a plateful of Hoku's Eggs Benedict with a famous Kahala ahi musubi on the side on Father's Day. So ono…Dad won't stop smiling. Hoku's Father's Day Brunch is another award-winning dining experience and features butter-poached King crab legs, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and tender miso butterfish.

Visit the made-to-order omelet bar for eggs your way joined by thick slabs of rare prime rib smothered in horseradish cream or roasted New Zealand rack of lamb. The salad bar will be heaping with island-grown fresh greens and sides of chilled asparagus, buffalo mozzarella with sliced vine-ripened tomatoes, and selections of domestic and imported cheeses. The seafood ice bar will offer unlimited quantities of shrimp, chilled lobster, clams, ahi and tako poke, oysters and smoked salmon. Don't let the mountains of seafood keep you from getting to all the other good things on the Hoku's buffet.

If dad is a sushi-lover, he won't be disappointed. Handmade by The Kahala's own sushi chefs, the sushi experience at Hoku's is tops. Ahi, ebi, unagi, hamachi, and California rolls are among the varieties along with fresh ahi and hamachi sashimi. Spicy ahi roll, too! Have seconds of the lomi salmon, made fresh by our chefs, or ask for a custom order of ahi poke musubi delivered right to your table. It's a Kahala Hoku's brunch favorite.

Other tempting entrees include garlic-roasted chicken, French toast with fresh berries, short rib hash with foie gras sauce, and Hoku's famous Eggs Benedict made with cheddar cheese biscuits, smoked salmon, and béarnaise sauce.

Save room for desserts--seasonal fruits dipped in the chocolate fountain, cheesecake brownies, rocky road bars, Black Forest cake, Irish whiskey walnut pie, assorted pastries, and house-baked cookies. And remember, your parking is validated!
