The Pentagon Winds is an active part of the U.S. Army Field Band, performing recitals and clinics throughout the nation for audiences ranging from the youngest elementary school students to the nation's finest universities and colleges. Members frequently present masterclasses on their individual instruments and offer coaching in ensemble playing techniques.

Classic guitarist Graham Banfield has been residing and performing in the Seattle area since 2005. In the spring of 2009, Graham graduated from Cornish College of the Arts (BM, distinction) during which time his principal guitar instructors were Michael LeFevre, Michael Partington, and Steven Novacek.
