Andy Summers, guitarist of the six time Grammy Award-winning group The Police, has produced and helped shape the new rock documentary Can’t Stand Losing You: Surviving The Police. The film features performances from their 2007/8 Reunion Tour as well as rare archival footage and insights from Summers’ memoir, One Train Later.

Can’t Stand Losing You: Surviving the Police follows Summers' journey from his early days in the psychedelic ‘60s music scene, when he played with The Animals, to chance encounters with drummer Stewart Copeland and bassist Sting, which led to the formation of the punk trio, The Police, who would go on to win Grammy Awards for their hits “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” as well as “Every Breath You Take.” In 2003 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and have been featured on multiple lists, including Rolling Stone Magazine and VH1, as some of the best artists of all time.

Released by Cinema Libre Studio, the film premiered in New York City theaters and Summers jammed with The Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The movie than moved on to cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs, Toronto and more!

The one night only event is screening at Washington DC, Dallas, Plano TX, Sacramento, San Diego and Honolulu with more cities to be announced!
