Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under three (3) minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports less than three (3) minutes. Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda. Nominee or volunteer living in the district/subdistrict of the vacancy will need to be verified by the Neighborhood Commission Office during a short recess and then to be sworn in upon approval of the Board

6. PRESENTATION: Chris Sayers from the Department of Transportation Services regarding Bike Lane on 10th Avenue. Constituents of Pālolo Valley have inquired about the communication plan regarding installation of a bike lane considering that: adding a bike lane will make lanes very narrow; cross-street access will be frustrated; and cyclists must transit two-ways in one lane. Traffic congestion may also ensue.

A. Vote on the approval of the Wednesday, December 9, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes

B. Vote to approve Board Resolution regarding Moped Noise Mitigation Bill.

C. Discussion of Quarterly Information Theme: Safety

D. Creation of board committees:

i. Proposal of Sub-district neighborhood watch committee (seeking committee chair)

E. Proposal of Pālolo Pride essay contest and incentivization (seeking committee chair)

F. Community Recognition Award - Recognizing of Brycen Go for exemplary service to the community as a CPR instructor.

A. The Pālolo Neighborhood Board's Next Regular Meeting is Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Pālolo Elementary School Cafeteria.

B. Bulky Trash Pick-Up -- Take out no-earlier-than one day before Wednesday, February 17, 2016 (third Wednesday of every month) to preserve the beauty of the valley

C. Farmers' Market -- Every Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. - 7:20 a.m. at Pālolo District Park

D. 'Olelo Broadcast Slots -- The Pālolo Neighborhood Board No. 6 meetings are aired on Channel

49 the first and third Sundays of the month at 12:00 p.m. and the 4th Thursday at 9:00 p.m. or online, anytime at http://olelo.org
