Kaimuki Neighborhood Board Meeting - Envision Kaimuki

EnVsion Kaimuki is having another meeting with the planners and architects to gather community responses to ideas that are being refined from the last meeting. The agenda is below. Also on the agenda are some short term projects that we are interested in pursuing - the mini park by the Kokohead, mauka entrance to the gated parking lot, the tree wells along Waialae avenue, and help with the efforts by the Kaimuki Park Adopt-a-Park committee.
Our residents' involvement is paramount to finding solutions for the future of our neighborhood and to keep Kaimuki a deirable place to be. Please attend and share your thoughts or volunteer for the beautification efforts. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda.
All written testimony must be received in the Neighborhood Commission Office 48 hours prior to the meeting.
If within 48 hours, written and/or oral testimony may be submitted directly to the Board at the meeting.

2.1 The mini park next to the 12th Avenue parking lot No. 1 entrance (mauka) -- Department of Transportation Services (DTS)
2.3 Kaimuki Park: Adopt-a-Park Chair, Kaimuki Business and Professional Association (KBPA)
2.3 Care of tree wells along Waialae Avenue between 11th Avenue and Koko Head Avenue
3. Summary of Last Community Meeting: Renee Espiau
4. Activities: "Streets as Places" public input responding to options presented by EnVision Kaimuki planners and architects
