DESCRIPTION

Join Hawai‘i Sea Grant's Center for Integrated Science, Knowledge, and Culture for an evening of education and entertainment!

Featuring keynote speaker Sir Tīmoti Kāretu, a champion of language and cultural revitalization for his native Māori, and a mentor in revitalization movements here in Hawaiʻi and around the world.

Panel discussion with Pacific Island scholars:

• Papali'i Tusi Avegalio, Director, Pacific Business Center Program
• Kaliko Baker, Assistant Professor, Hawai‘inuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge
• Kalehua Krug, Educational Specialist, Hawaiʻi State Department of Education
• Kalei Nuʻuhiwa, Researcher, Papaku Makawalu, Edith Kanakaole Foundation
