Chaminade University Announces Diane Peters-Nguyen as its New Vice President For Institutional Advancement  For Immediate ReleaseContact: Kapono Ryan (808) 735-4797 or cell 429-2972 DIANE PETERS-NGUYEN AS ITS NEW VICE PRESIDENT FOR INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT  HONOLULUÑMay 25, 2007-- Diane Peters-Nguyen has been named vice president for Institutional Advancement for Chaminade University of Honolulu. Peters-Nguyen has twenty years of leadership experience in management, communications and development. Most recently she has been vice president and part-owner of a local public relations firm. Prior to that, she ran the institutional advancement team at the Oceanic Institute and served as head of the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council. Currently she serves on numerous community boards and organizations including the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association and the Hawaii Society of Corporation Planners. With her broad experience and strong community ties, she will play a key role in the University's fundraising efforts and its visibility in the community.### Celebrating more than 50 years of educating students for life, service and successful careers, Chaminade University offers programs of study grounded in the liberal arts with day, evening, online and accelerated courses.
