Peters-Nguyen has twenty years of leadership experience in management, communications and development. Most recently she has been vice president and part-owner of a local public relations firm. Prior to that, she ran the institutional advancement team at the Oceanic Institute and served as head of the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council. Currently she serves on numerous community boards and organizations including the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association and the Hawaii Society of Corporation Planners.
