The Movement Center Announces New Classes For Senior Adults Beginning In November.

Senior Maintenance Exercise & Fall Prevention
This unique class will integrate music and dance-based movement principles with a program of strength, flexibility and balance exercises to help seniors prevent falls and functional decline. Class will run for 6 weeks from Nov. 3 through Dec. 17. (No class the week of Thanksgiving.)

About the Instructor: Julie Okamura, PT, has been practicing in Honolulu since 1992. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the University of California at Berkeley and her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University.

Once Upon A Time There Was A Girl...
Women, explore your own story. Discover your personal mythology through a variety of Art Experiences such as collage, storytelling, writing, poetry, movement and music. Most of us are somewhere on the path of the "hero's" journey and this 6 week class will encourage you to explore your epic tale. No previous artistic experience is necessary. Bring your heart and mind and a notebook.
