• Chaminade's will launch Hogan Entrepreneurial Non-Profit Business Plan Competition

Chaminade University's Hogan Entrepreneurial Program and American Savings Bank are conducting a Business Plan Competition held exclusively for the non-profit sector.

The prizes being offered are as follows:

• 1st prize - $12,000
  
• 2nd prize - $6,000
  
• 3rd prize - $4,000
  
• 4th prize - 100 hours of integrated communications service from Loomis-ISC

A letter of intent to compete in the competition is due on Feb. 5th, 2010. The deadline to submit business plans is March 4th and the winners will be announced in April.

The Hogan Entrepreneurial Program will be looking for new programs that best embody its mission of "doing social things that make business sense" as it conducts its 4th Nonprofit Business Plan Competition.

The mission of the Hogan Family Foundation is to promote the entrepreneurial spirit through the creation and operation of educational, civic-minded and humanitarian programs designed to encourage a more productive and contributory society.
