• Foodland Named "Best Grocery Store" by Readers of Honolulu Magazine

All of us here at Foodland were thrilled to learn that we were voted "best grocery store" by readers of Honolulu Magazine. What a tremendous honor this is -- especially during a year in which we were faced not only with having to close our Hawaii Kai store after nearly 50 years, but also with mass merchants like WalMart and Target selling more food and our competitors opening new stores right near ours. We know that you have more choices than ever of where you do your grocery shopping, and we are proud and grateful that you choose to shop with us.

Your naming us "best grocery store" inspires us to work even harder to serve you. As a company committed to creating outstanding shopping experiences for our customers while building our community, we are dedicated to finding new ways to serve you. Whether that means working hard to find new local products for you, offering great savings and HawaiianMiles through our Maika'i program, providing easy ways for you to support your favorite local non-profit, or just going the extra mile to help you, we want to make sure we earn your confidence, support, and respect -- every time you shop!
