Performing Arts Center

Presents its annual Spring Musical

Richard O'Brien's

The Rocky Horror Show

February 21nd, 22rd, 28 and March 1st, 7th, 8th - 7:30 pm

February 23th and March 2nd and 9th -- 3:00 pm

Loyal fans of Kaimuki High School Performing Arts Center will remember our many successful musical theatre productions, including, Pirates of Penzance, Little Shop of Horrors , Grease, and last year's Hawaii premiere of Violet . This year we celebrate 27 years on the stage by presenting The Rocky Horror Show. With music, lyrics, and book by Richard O'Brien, this rock-n-roll musical is a story of self discovery and being true to your own nature. It is also a humorous tribute to the science fiction B movies of the 1950s. It ran for a total of 2,960 performances, and won the 1973 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical. The play was adapted into a film, and released in 1975 as The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The film is the longest-running release in film history; it has never been pulled from rotation of its original release, and continues to play in cinemas all over the world. The film, as well as the play, has become the very definition of a cult classic.

Our enthusiastic and talented actors, represent various public schools from Hawaii including Aiea, Farrington, Kaimuki, Kalani, and Roosevelt High Schools. They will be joined by KHSPAC alumni, including those from UH Manoa, and Windward Community College, all working together to produce a fantastic evening of entertainment. Come join us!

Tickets: $12 - Adults, $6 with ID -- elementary and high school students, military and seniors citizens over 65. Box office opens one hour before each performance for ticket sales. Tickets are also on line at and Harry's Music Store.
