See HTY's "Tiny Tree" at 10 Oahu Libraries Mar. 16 to May 27

The Honolulu Theatre for Youth will present "The Tiny Tree," a free new show for preschoolers, at 10 selected Oahu public libraries from Wednesday, March 16 through Friday, May 27.

"The Tiny Tree," created by Annie Cusick Wood, explores what tiny trees and tiny children have in common. The City & County of Honolulu-Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts is sponsoring this 30-minute interactive show at nine selected Oahu libraries. The Friends of the Library of Hawaii is sponsoring this show on May 27 at the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

* May 27 (Friday), 10:30 a.m. at Salt Laker-Moanalua Public Library (ph. 831-6831) - sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawaii

The program schedule is subject to change. Call the hosting library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed, or for more information.

Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.
